Summer Skin by Kirsty Eagar

Hello!

Welcome back for another of my, written in the middle of the night during a night shift because otherwise I can’t find time, blog posts!

This one is going to be for the novel Summer Skin by Kirsty Eagar! This novel was sent to me by the wonderful Raincoast Books here in Vancouver, BC! I was very excited to receive this novel and I definitely couldn’t wait to read it, especially during the long cute summer contemporary binge that I went through!

Receiving this book from Raincoast doesn’t effect my opinion of this book one bit, all my thoughts are my own!

Alright, let’s get into it!

Favourites of the Month: March

Hello everyone!

March was a month that flew by for me. I had so much going on and it made the time feel like nothing, which I am not complaining about, I love it when I’m busy!

This month also included the Wonder Week Read-a-thon which I had so much fun hosting. It took place during the week I had my wisdom teeth removed but I had managed to read 4/5 of the books I wanted to read, so it was a successful read-a-thon in my books (heh, books).

I’m just going to jump right into my monthly favourites now! I hope you all enjoy!

Weekly Favourites: March 16th-23rd

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to yet another Weekly Favourites post. This is one series that I feel like I’m not very consistent with, but it’s one that I thoroughly enjoy writing. This series makes me settle down and reflect on the last week and pick out a couple of my favourite things from that week, whether they be products I’m loving, things I’m loving online, or books I’m loving.

Therefore, I want to remain more on schedule with this post and be better about posting it. Here’s to hoping that actually happens!

February Wrap Up

Hello everyone!

Another month gone so quickly – I can’t believe how fast the year is going.

Small update for school: I only have about 2 weeks of sit in classes left and will be heading to one of my final practicums by the end of March – which I’m so excited about. Soon I’ll be done my program and be working as a nurse! I cannot wait.

Anyways, this post is going to be my February Wrap Up!

This month has been a pretty great reading month – I was able to read 8 books this month, which is amazing for me. Especially with how busy I’ve been this month!

I’m just going to jump right into the wrap up now!

Gifted

Hey guys!

Since I went through a very horrible reading slump, a lot of what I did was TV and Movies. Therefore, I hope you guys are ready for the massive influx of posts about all the things I’ve watched.

There is a lot.

I’m starting with Gifted – because it was one of my favourites.

Suits

This is a post that is very out of the ordinary for me. I’ve never really posted about television or movies on my blog before – but I felt as though this was the perfect place to start.

After all, books tell a story, but so does film/television.

I’m here to talk about (rave about) a television show called Suits. This show has been in my life for quite a while now. I’m pretty sure I started watching it when it first came out (don’t quote me on that) and ever since I’ve been a huge fan.

Of course that doesn’t mean I haven’t stopped watching it for a while and have had to binge watch the episode (oh poor me) to catch up. I have, and I’m not ashamed to admit it – but this show will always bring my back.
