The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee (Spoiler-Free Review)

This book has been super hyped up, and originally I wanted to listen to the audiobook but I couldn’t find it at my library. I then brought the print book, but I kind of wish I bought the audiobook instead.

Room by Emma Donoghue (Spoiler-Free Review)

It’s finally August, and after my amazing reading month last month, I wanted to start off strong.

I watched Room when it first came out and I have been wanting to read the book ever since because the movie itself was so amazing. Thankfully I saw this book for $5 at Barnes and Noble and picked it up right away.

I have to say that this book didn’t make me as emotional as the movie did, I don’t know if this is because I read a lot of it during the day around my family/at school, but the movie definitely made me cry more.

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (Spoiler-Free Review)

Hey guys!

This book is old. It’s old and I read it a long long long time ago.

I decided to do a re-read because I want to finally get to Lady Midnight, and I don’t really remember much from any of Clare’s writing.

I figured that since I am kind of reading this novel with “fresh eyes” I might as well write a review about my feelings towards it. Which weren’t amazing.
