Last year was an incredible reading year for me.
I am happy to report that I managed to finish off the year with 101 books read (with a day to spare).
This year I wanted to do things a bit differently and calm myself down a bit so I can concentrate on reading bigger books that I normally wouldn’t pick up due to their size. Additionally I wanted to be consistent with my book reviews, especially for those books that I have received from the author/publisher to review.
I will be putting out an additional post going over the Top Ten Novels I want to read this year, but for this post I’d like to just go over some general goals I’d like to accomplish in relation to my reading.
Goals
- Read 60+ novels
-
- 30% Non-Fiction (at least)
- Try not to buy more than 5 books a month
- Listen to more audiobooks
- Write a review for every single book I read (only if it’s a new read, not re-reads)
That’s about all I have in terms of goals for this new year of reading. I’m sure I’ll find some additional goals I’d like to add on to this list, but for now this is about all I am thinking about committing to.
Thank you all so much for reading! Don’t forget to follow my blog as well as my other social media sites linked in the side bar.
Until next time,

Love those goals! I need to keep my book buying to a minimum too… at least until I read all of the books that I have!

Great to have you back! Wow, 101 books, with a reading slump in the middle too. Well done and looking forward to reading more from you in 2018.

Yeah I’m quite proud of how much I read! I did have a horrible reading slump, but thankfully I was able to hit such a high number still!
